Exford C of E First School had its Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) in July 2015. The school is inspected in three key areas; how the school, through its distinctive Christian character, meets the needs of its learners, the impact of Collective Worship and the effectiveness of leadership and management. The school was judged to be good in two areas and was outstanding in how it meets the needs of its learners, leading to a judgement of good overall.

The Christian values promoted are evident in all aspects of the school's life and are well understood by pupils
Excellent provision is made to support the needs of all pupils in a caring and nurturing environment
Strong leadership is provided by the Head of Teaching and Learning and the Executive head teacher in promoting the Christian vision of the school
Relationships with the local church and community are strong and positive
