Home Learning

We are pleased to be able to provide remote learning to all of our pupils. We use two main communication channels between pupils and parents for our remote learning provision.

Our KS1 pupils & families can engage through Tapestry.Via parental Tapestry accounts, tailored home learning packs are available to each child. Tapestry is also used throughout the school week as it allows us to build a special record of each individual child’s experience’s, development and learning journey. Parents enjoy having this window into their child’s time at school.

Our KS2 pupils are active Google Classroom enthusiasts!Having the wide range of features offered through our Google Suite, our older pupils enjoy taking ownership of their online learning & are equally proud of their virtual classroom as well as their real one.
Weekly homework is set via the Classroom to ensure pupils are familiar with navigating this platform.

During 2021 we were overwhelmed by the support and generosity of our local community who came together to donate enough funds for us to be able to provide a new chromebook to every pupil in Year 1 to Year 4!We have also been able to introduce this technology to our Reception pupils.

Pupils are able to use their Chromebooks at home during times of national lockdown or while self-isolating due to COVID-19.
