Minutes from the Parent Forum Meeting held on 17.11.16
We held our Parent Forum last week. The aim of the forum is to for the school to get feedback on school matters and to share new ideas. It would be great to see more of you come along to these meetings; they are very informal and tea and biscuits are provided! Below are the points we discussed:
Nativity Play – there was a suggestion from the forum to film this year’s play. School will ask for a volunteer parent to film the production, find someone to copy it onto DVDs, and then sell copies to parents at cost (on condition it does not go on the internet)
School Lunches - the forum felt the new ordering system for lunches works well. It was noted that some children are complaining of being hungry at the end of the school day. School will set up a monitoring period to identify if there is an issue with portion sizes, eaters or any other changes that can be made.
Uniform ordering – the new ordering system is working well.
Clubs – the forum praised the range of clubs; suggestions for future clubs include dance with Duncan Hume and hula hooping. A day of scooting and skating is planned for the Spring Term.
