About Our Pre-School

Little Berries Pre-School is a small, rural setting offering inclusive childcare and education for all children aged 2- 4 years.

Children at Little Berries have the opportunity to take part on a variety of activities, all of which are based around the children's interests. We allow the children's ideas , passions and fascinations to lead us through the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Our aim is for our children to become confident, happy individuals who can independently move forward in their learning in all areas of life. We offer a warm, friendly and safe pre-school environment to nurture each child through their early years. W provide a stimulating and loving environment for them to learn and grow. All children at Little Berries participate in Fundamentals and Forest School at least weekly. We have a wonderful, safe and inspiring outdoor area allowing free-flow access to the outside learning environment.

Little Berries is part of Exford C of E First School. This means that the curriculum is planned with Reception teachers, allowing all staff to make secure, progressive links building on prior learning from the very earliest stages.  Children at Little Berries take part in a wide range of school activities, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition when the time comes for them to move into Reception.

We operate for 15 hours a week. Opening times are:

  • Monday 9-3
  • Tuesday 9-12
  • Thursday 9-3
