British Values
In accordance with The Department for Education, we aim to actively promote British Values to ensure our young people leave school prepared for life in modern Britain. Pupils are encouraged to regard people of all faiths, races and cultures with respect and tolerance. In addition, to understand that whilst different people may hold different views on what is 'right' and 'wrong', all people leaving in Britain are subject to its laws.
The key values we promote are:
At Exford CofE First School, we elect our own school council who support leadership and staff with decision making across the school.
Our outreach
We are proud to link with our local community and support a range of charities across the academic year, for example Send a Cow and Christian Aid.
Below is our Cow Gallery which helped raised enough money to fund a family in Africa to be provided with a cow, It was lovely that children, parents and staff all took part in creating cows!
