Exmoor is a wonderful environment in which to spend your childhood. As in all areas school is key to the process of growing up into succesful and healthy individuals, who can make a positive contribution to society.
The Exmoor Federation of schools comprises of two Church of England first schools and a Community Middle school. We work very closely the Children's Centre in Dulverton and nurseries in the area to provide a unique education for the children of Exmoor
aged between 0 and 13 years old.
Exford is a small traditional village school which has served the community for over 100 years. The school is proud of it's traditional Christian values, high quality teaching and excellent care, guidance and support of it's pupils. When you enter the school you are made immediatly aware of it's inviting and creative learning environment, mixed with the latest technological resources.
At all stages of the curriculum schools within The Exmoor Federation use the environment of the Moor to support the teaching. We work very closely with Exmoor National Park Authority to provide opportunities to learn outdoors. Our environment is a great educational resource and we take every opportunity to use it to give the children of Exmoor the best educational experience possible.
