Spring is Here

New life.
Listen.
The tiptoe of the hedgehog’s feet as he pads along the grassy hedgerow.
The sigh of the sun rising over hill tops.
The tinkle of a mouse’s whiskers as he runs down his hole.
The peal of the bluebells as they sway in the wind.
The trumpeting of daffodils as they lift their faces towards the sky.
The tiptap of a bee’s feet as he dances.
The scuttle of the ant as he enters his nest in the gusty wind.
The swish of a buzzard as he swoops on his prey.
The sigh of a hedgehog as he wakes in the early evening.
The flutter of his lashes as he opens his blurry eyes.
The pumping of a hare’s heart as he crouches in the long grass.
The whisper of the sun as it sets.
Thank you Lord for new life in Spring.
